Newark wines is a Targe white colonial -
style building on the outskirts of Virgil,
Ont. Take the Highway 55 exit from the
Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) and drive
toward Niagara on the Lake. Virgil is
halfway there. You can drop in anytime
and Ix ill probably meet the winemaker
himself.
Chateau Des Charmes can be reached
by turning south at the flashing light in
Virgil and driving along Four Mile Creek
Road until you reach the winery at Line 7.

Jordan is in St. Catharines and can be
reached by taking the Martindale exit
from the QEW and driving south into the
city. Turn left onto the Louth Street and
it'll bring you right to the winery. While
they will try to accommodate you it would
be better to call ahead 688-2140.
Andres is easy to find. You can spot it
while driving on the QEW just west of
Grimsby. Take the nearest exit and drive
along South Service road to the winery.
Tour times are convenient too, from 10
a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Satur-
day. Again it is best to call ahead.
