Conveys
excitement
The September issue of The Rural
Voice is exceptional from the smart -
looking front cover with Dennis Timbrell
right on through to the back. The writing
conveys the excitement you must feel in
doing it. It is contagious and I've caught
it, too.
Your September issue was among other
publications on a rack in the Media Booth
at the International Plowing Match in
Lucan and it stuck out like a sore thumb
or, rather, a rose among thorns. 1 picked
one up. The layout and style are clean,
straight forward and easy to read. You
should develop a huge following if you
can keep it up.
Wishing you much continued success
with The Rural Voice.

conducts Media Watch
Women Today would like to congrat-
ulate you on your new ownership of the
Rural Voice. A motion was passed at our
last meeting to pass our best wishes on to
you. You have made The Rural Voice a
very successful and informative magazine
over the years and we are sure that you
will continue to be interesting and to
grow.
One of our projects this year will be to
conduct a media watch that will point to
some of the (often unintentional) negative
portrayal of women in the rural media.
We are glad to know that there will be at
least one publication we won't have to
keep too close an eye on!
