Request
from the Co-operators
In early 1979, the Co-operators intro-
duced Farm Guard in Ontario. Farm
Guard is a comprehensive insurance
package for farmers that includes: build-
ings, contents, machinery, livestock,
produce and liability coverages. Due to
the introduction of the farm guard
product, the Co-operators are requesting
that previous farm family liability policy-
holders of The Co-operators convert to
new farm guard. Co-operators are offering
to insurance those policyholders total farm
insurance needs or are offering to convert
the liability section only. Co-operators
sales personnel are contacting policyhold-
ers involved prior to their renewal date
and discussing this change with them.
Farm family liability policyholders who
previously had purchased Supplementary
Life Insurance coverages and Accident
and Sickness coverage in conjunction with
their farm family liability policies can
continue those coverages.
If the renewal date of your farm family
liability policy is approaching and you
have not been contacted, please call the
nearest Co-operators office or sales
representative for further information.

A fine big calf
Two little calves,
Yes two of a kind
Great as long as the mother doesn't mind.
One she liked but not the other
So this little one came home with father.
Warming up milk, and hunting a bottle,
Oh what a fuss, but well worth the trouble.
When you see the result, a fine big calf
The price isn't much, but please don't
laugh.
The pleasure she brought to our whole
bunch,
When it came time to give Stephanie her
lunch.

My earn
Our family lives on a farm. We have cattle
on our farm. I feed the calves. We
separate the milk. And we sell the cream.
The creamman comes and picks up our
cream. He comes every Monday and
Thursday. We get our money that way.

If I lived on the farm
If I lived on a farm I know what it would
be like. I would have to do chores like
feeding the cows and if the cows get out I
would have to help my dad chase them
back in. In the summer I would have to
help my dad unload the hay wagon up to
the barn. But if my dad would be spraying
I wouldn't go near him.

My fish farm
I live on a fish farm and I like to go
fishing. A fish farm is different from a
plain farm. We feed our fish pellets and
the pellets have a cheese flavour. We had
a deer but it got away and 1 like living on a
fish farm.
