The Rural Voice, 1982-01, Page 22----"CLIP AND SAVE" FARMERS -FARM SERVICE BUSINESSES CENTRALIA COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES WINTER 1982 CENTRALIA COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY WITH THE HELP OF AREA ONTARIO MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FOOD PERSONNEL AND FUNDING ASSISTANCE FROM THE CANADA EMPLOYMENT AND IMMIGRATION COMMISSION OFFER THE FOLLOWING CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES LONGER TRAINING PROGRAMS A Training Allowance Available for Eligible Applicants. (I) Dairy Herdworker Training Program -begins on January 11 and will operate for 12 weeks -20 days of practical classes at the College and 40 days of on-farm training conducted by three selected farmer trainers. (II) Swine Herdworker Training Program -begins on January 18 and will operate for 12 weeks -20 days of practical classes at the College and 40 days of on-farm training conducted by three selected former trainers Admission Requirements: Anyone, male or female who Is at least 17 years of age, has at least Grade 8 education and out of school at least one year may apply.
