Bruce County Federation of Agriculture ANNUAL MEETING 8 BANQUET December 4, 1981 7:30 p.m. Formosa Community centre GUEST SPEAKER: Roy Maxwell from CBC Radio News. ADVANCE SALE ONLY • Farmer of the Year Award will be presented by Brian & Gisele Ireland • Some township directors to be elected at this meeting. • Tickets available from township directors VOS (Cont. from page 16) township in Huron County may well have been nullified. This line is a standing invitation to Ontario Hydro to build in the Goderich area after the year 2,000. Huron federation members should seriously consider replace- ment fo the members on the power line committee by down-to-earth people. To regain lost ground a committee of strong-minded farmers with a will to fight must be re-elected. The defeated attitude expressed by same members of the HCFA executive, that "everything has already been decided anyway", is mostly to blame for their initial set back. It can be reversed but it will take much time and and will power. THE RURAL VOICE/DECEMBER 1981 PG. 39
