Agricultural Property
for Tender
THE UPPER THAMES RIVER CONSERVATION
AUTHORITY HAS THE FOLLOWING AGRICULTURAL
UNITS FOR RENT BY TENDER. Each unit will be reviewing
seperateiy, thus persons wishing to tender any more than one
[11 UNIT MUST SUBMIT SEPARATE TENDERS.
Tender to be submitted in letter form Applicants must ensure
that any and all requirements of the tender are complete.
The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
NOTE: 1. Applicants tendering on any or all of the following
units must explain on the tender document the crops
to be grown; the rotation, if any, as well as other
relevant information. The successful applicant(s)
will be required to perform certain conservation
measures, such as conservation tillage, use of
alfalfa -based hay crops in crop rotation, on the
property as indicated in the tender.
2. The duration of the rental agreement will be a
minimum three years. To facilitate soil conserva-
tion measures, such as crop rotations, longer rental
periods, can be negotiated. The tender document
should outline the longer rental period if required.
3 Tenders to specify whether available farm buildings
to be included or excluded.
4. Rental is to be paid twice annually on April and
October 31.
All units decribed below are tillable agricultural acreages.
