Attendance: over 75 persons attended this meeting hosted by
Grey Township Federation of Agriculture. The topic of the
meeting was Absentee/Foreign Ownership of Land in Huron
County.
The meeting commenced with .a motion by Tony McQuail.
seconded by Clete Dalton that the minutes of March monthly
meeting be accepted as printed in the Rural Voice. Carried.
. Tony McQuail spoke briefly on behalf of the HCFA Energy
Committee on the subject of the possibility of Huron County
Farmers forming a compost plant in Huron County to dispose of
wastes. Anyone who was interested was to leave dairies and
addresses with Tony that evening.
President Dale Knight of Grey Township Fed. of Agriculture
introduced the guests, Professor Tony Fuller. Director of RDOP
at University of Guelph for four years. Professor Julius Magc of
