Bruce F of A plans regional
meetings early in September
The Regional Meetings for the Bruce
County Federation of Agriculture will
be held earlier this year to accom-
modate those that would be in the
middle of corn harvest. We are hoping
in this way to boost the attendance at
these meetings. Watch for notices of
these important meetings early in
September. Representatives will be
elected to go to Toronto to the OFA
Convention in November.
The convention in Toronto this year
should have something more to offer to
the spouses of delegates attending.
Bruce County Federation is presently
working at setting up a tour of some
kind and facilities where a general get
together can be enjoyed. We hope that
the activities planned for those attend-
ing and not directly involved in the

meetings will be a novel learning
experience.
The plans are underway for the Bruce
County Federation of Agriculture
Annual Meeting. The place will be
Elmwood Community Centre and the
date December Sth. Granted that this is
well advanced to plan on your calendar,
but an important point to keep in mind.
The annual meeting is important be-
cause here you elect your Bruce County
executive to represent you throughout
the year.
The Bruce County Federation will
be present at Tara and Teeswater Fall
Fair this year. We are hoping to meet
the ISM's and perhaps encourage more
to join. The "Farmers Working for
Farmers" logo is just that. an organi-
zation working for the farmers in this
area and all over the province.
