If ever there was a "get out and get
going" issue of Village Squire, this is it.
On topics as varied as .fishing on Lake
Huron and auction sales, Western
Ontario style, you'll get the inside story
in the Squire.
In fact, we predict there's enough info
on good Western Ontaro places to visit in
this issue to keep you busy all summer.
Next month we continue along the same
vein, but at a quieter pace, with stories
about best beaches, where to get the
ultimate in ice cream, the beginning of an
occasional series on our small towns, and
to guarantee you'll sit down and relax, a
short story by a .fiction prize winner.
We're still very much interested in
hearing from readers who'd like to spread
the word about Village Squire, and earn a
little money for your favourite group [or
yourself] at the same time. For each $8
Village Squire subscription sold, the
Squire will pay you or your favourite
charity $2. Sell 10 subscriptions and
you'll receive a cheque for $20... sell 100
and you or your club will receive a cheque
for 5200.
We're happy to announce still more
area stores are carrying Village Squire.. .
see the listing in this month's issue.
We hope to be at area craft shows and
summer events with sample copies too.
Thanks to you we're growing... Village
Squire, your window on Western Ontario.
