barley sugar, salt water taffy, and English
yoghurt candies. There are also many good
brands of tea for sale, including novelty
flavours like cinnamon and chocomint.
In the bath shop, displayed around a
large wood stove, are soaps. potpourri. and
bath products like "Bath Salts for Little
Terrors" which comes in flavour frag-

discontinued. There is still a nostalgic air
about the room, however. The walls are
decorated with reproductions of old movie
posters, which you can buy. Take home
Clara Bow in "Love Among the Million-
aires," Mae West in "Every Day's a
Holiday" or everyone's favourite scene of
Gable and Vivien Leigh in "Gone With the
Wind."
There are also posters of old Coca
Cola ads and delicate Pear's Soap illu-
strations. In the same area are children's
'
books, some old books, and a good
selection of seventy-eight speed fox trot
and waltz records.
The Emporium stays open year round,
from Tuesday through Sunday, including
holiday Mondays. Although the store is
