Focus on
excellence
Your article on London's new gallery was most timely and of
course, being a citizen of Kincardine, I found your excellent
article on our "Knights of Jazz" by E. Townshend most
interesting and well done!
"Rafer and Me by A.M. was a gem of a short story. Let's
have more.
For a tourist area such as ours, both "Dining Information"
and "Around Town" are helpful and informative guides, as is
your general advertising.
Indeed your entire publication' is deserving of praise and is a
credit to the former publisher and the new 1 The best of luck to
the new owners McLean Bros. and all of you involved in putting
together "Village Squire". It does indeed' focus an excellence'
and as a new subscriber, I will look forward to receiving future
issues.

1 would like to commend you on the fine magazine published in
the Village Squire. You manage to explore western Ontario with
a slightly different flavour.
Although I do not always have a chance to read the Squire
fully, I especially enjoy McGillicuddy's diary. I don't know where
he learned to write (a fine style) but I do hope that he continues.
I think that five dollars is a fair price for a year's subscription,
and please keep sending my copy for another year.
Please keep sending it to the same address (below).
Looking forward to the same fine quality from your new
publishers.
Sincerely
Steven Johann
