Earl has expanded his music business to
include helping others to get out their own
records. He charges a $50 fee for a
consultation about laying out a record. He
charges another $300 to get a record
out --laying it out in rough, with the right
picture and story.
What kind of sound does Earl want in
music? He wants variety. He does not like
monotony or noise. He says music has to be
"strong material" for people to like
it --with something different.
He adds. "If 1 were to play rock music I
would starve to death. But I have always
found a good market for country."
It has always been country music for
Earl. It will never change. Earl Heywood is
country music. He wears fancy silk shirts
with his cowboy boots and belt. He even
wears spurs on his boots. He says with a
smile. "1 usually wear my hat so people
can recognize lie."

where cancer is as obsolete as
the dinosaur. It can happen. The
research is willing but unfortunately
the funds are weak.
All bequests received by the
Canadian Cancer Society are used to
support cancer research, unless other-
wise stipulated in the will.
That's where you come in. Please in-
sert one simple sentence in your
will: "I give to the Canadian Cancer
Society the sum of
dollars."
Our hope is to free the world
from cancer. And where there's a will,
there s a way.
