Can you help us?
The snow is blowing, In fact it could be
blowing so hard that you're snowed right
in.
It's January on the farm. There aren't
as many chores as there are at other times
of the year and the house is spic and span
or at least liveable enough that housework
doesn't take up all of your time.
What do you. the farm wife, do to avoid
boredom? That's what one person who
answered the Rural Voice readership
questionnaire (see page 2) wonders.
For this woman and others,Rural Voice
would like to do a story on how our women
readers spend their spare time in the
winter months, months that can be long
and dreary in this part of Ontario.
Will you share your solutions with other
readers? Write out your comments . .
they don't have to be fancy. . .and send
them to Rural Voice, Box 10, Blyth. Or
write or call us and we'll try to arrange an
interview. Get in touch soon, please. The
story must be written by October 15 to
make our November issue deadline.
