planning board sent two men to address
the meeting and outline steps in county
planning. Reeve Clifford Pegalo informed
the people in attendance that Brant
Township was in the process of processing
by.laws to initiate the official plan. Another
members meeting is planned for Brant
Township to discuss the official plan when
it is formulated.
An all candidates meeting was held in
Tara May 9th. Crawford Douglas, Liberal
Dr. Gary Gerbin, P.C., John Gies,
N.D.P. and Norma Watson Libertarian
were all in attendance. About 100 voters
attended and a lively discussion was held
after the candidates speeches. President
