Tye grounds were festooned with rows of multicolored lights, streamers and nags, and a huge Union Jack was hong over all. The carnival had been postponed from the previous Thursday, when a heavy rainfall made it impossible to bold anything out-of-doors. Two draws. for major prises, were conducted by D. E. Campbell.
