REMOVAL OF RETAIL SALES TAX ON
GRAIN STORAGE BINS NEEDED
The Ontario Government contradicts itself by providing grants
for on-farm grain storage and then applying retail sales tax to

Huron County Farmer Speaks to Clinton Kinsman club
Adrian Vos, a past -president of the Huron County Federation
of Agriculture was the guest speaker at the Clinton Kinsman
Club Dinner Meeting on Jan. 9th.
The Kinsman learned why some agricultural commodities
need marketing boards. Mr. Vos told of the development of
marketing boards and explained why some of them require
quotas.
The quota -setting marketing boards were compared to some
other non -agriculture "marketing board -type" organizations
