8` per bushel
Agriculture and Food Minister Bill
Newman has confirmed that Ontario grain
corn producers will receive eight cents per
bushel under the Ontario grain corn
stabilization plan for the 1977 crop year.
The provincial payment of eight cents
represents the net payment to producers
after the deduction of a four -cent enroll-
ment fee.
As previously announced, farmers will
be required to fill out only one application
form in order to obtain payment under both
the federal and the provincial plans.
Mr. Newman said. "We arranged the
use of a single form with the federal
government in order to minimize red tape
and save time for producers at this bus
time of year."
