3. OFA should pressure the Ont. Gov't to insure that Ontario
Hydro is required to perform its responsibilities with regard to
fencing where necessary.
4. OFA should pressure Ont. Gov't to amend the
Expropriation Act to provide that no possession, constru c tion or
entry occur until settlement has been reached.
Report on Workmen's Compensation Board Rate Changes. All
rates including farmers will decrease by 8% for 1979 because the
cast experience of accidents for 1977 and 1978 has been much
lower than the trend which was established in 1974, 1975 and
1976.
Line Fence Act
Legislature convenes in October, the proposed Act to revise
the Lines Fence Act should be studied by each County
Federation and Township Federations ao that any input cre"ld be
forwarded to OFA as soon as possible prior to September,Copies
of the Bill 135 are available by request.
