luck dinner meeting
'The St. Helen's Women's Institute held
its December 4th meeting in the form of
a pot luck supper, with an exchange of
Christmas .presents, squares and cookies
Norma Raynard provided -acconpaniment
for various Ciaristmas carols and songs
throughout the meeting.
The Oilening Ode, Mary Stewart Coiled
and -a reading were given by Elaine Er-
rington who presided for the meeting.
Rollcall was answered by 16 members
and four visitors with a Christmas verde
and a stamped card to be sent to the
shut ins. Edith Cooper gave the minutes
and Barb Tyler the financial report.

card parties were planned for January
22, February 5, 29, and a pot luck supper
for January 15 for the St. Helen's Light
Fund.
The guest speaker, Marion McFarlane
of Lucknow, was introduced by Florence
McConnell. Mrs. McFarlane told of her
experiences as an institute member, the
elms. hues story and something we as in-
stitute embers can do to help in our
communities.
Isobel Miller and Norma Raynard gave
readings.
Arlene Turner and Luba Stratton,
leaders for "Good Foods Fast, were
given a vote of thanks by Nornie
Raynard.

Bushell superintendents of the Kinlough
Presbyterian Church Sunday School along
with the congregation held their annual
Christmas party last Sunday evening. It
started after seven and was completed and
everybody home.
The evening was enjoyed immensely by
