visited with Mrs. Mamie Weaver of

Pauline Adams, Janet Waterworth and
her son, Pat, visited for a week recently
with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smith and fami-
ly, John Adams and family of Windsor.
Chalmers Women's Missionary Society,
Whitechurch held their November meting
on November 22 in the church, Dora
Neilson opened the meeting and a hymn

Guest speaker, Dr. Sue Kober, a
returned medical missionary from
Malawi, was guest veaker. She gave a
very interesting talk and showed pictures
of the country and their facilities there.
She shoed many interesting experiences
with the guests from Calvin Brick,
Lucknow, Whitechurch, South lUnloss and
Belgrave.
Norma ItiOtoul thanked the SPeaker
and presented her with a gift. Lunch fund
social time followed. _

The Dungannon 'United Chureh women
held their -November meeting in the form
'of a pot luck supper, with the Willing
Workers Group and their families as
guests. A film on the Mongoose Riki Tiki
Taki was shown for entertainment.
Winner ofthe guilt draw at the beef
supper was Rick Park.
At the card party on Wednesday night
11 tables were in play, with high laiy, lia
Pollock; low lady, Lois Cunningham;
high ,man, Torn Tobey and low man, Tom
Culbert.
Members are reminded that rnember-
ships are due and the general meeting is
on December 6 at 2 pair.
During the service on November 26 the
sacrament of baptism was administered
to Carneren Graham Alton (Thrifty) and
Thomas James Allen Rutledge (Nile).
Dungannon United Church is sponsoring
an evening of Christmas Music with the
Harbouraires, MacKay Choristers and
Knox Hand Bell Choir at Brookside
School on December 15, 8 p.m.. Everyone
is welcome.

Bruce was not expected to live. For-
tunately, a spe(cially equipped:and
staffed trauma unit was ready and
standing by at a alearby hospital.
This special facility helped Bruce
but the odds and he has 'returned
to work.
