Bantams winning but take
too many penalties
by Linda Sticklend
The Lucknow Bantam A's have W012
two more back to back games defeating
Ripley le - a and Arthur 8 - 4. Riplefs
team as well as Midway, have not.pro>
ved to be formidable 'opponents for
Luclmow so far this season.
Chris Stevenson was back after a three
game layoff and netted up z hat trick.
Matt Sproul put two away with Warren
Andrew, •Justin Murray, Clint Murray,
Brad Rhody and Stan Kikkert putting one
a piece on behind Ripley's net minder.
Assists this game go to Vince Stickiend,
Justin Murray, Scott Rintoul, anis Hum-
phrey, Warren Andrew, Matt Sproul and
Stan Kikkert. Luckuow vs Arthur
Arthur's game proved to be rough with
.Luclmow receiving the greatest amount
of penalties of any game 'this season.
With Lucknow ahead by a score of 4 - 1,
Arthur took advantage of the three to
five man situation for nearly the whole
second period and tied the game 4 - 4.
Luclmow rallied back 'in -the third and
=wed four rnore goals for the win.
Adam Skillen and ,Joel Sutton shared
the net this game and both made some
really•nice saves.
PORTS
Justin Murray totalled up four goals for
his efforts assisted by Donnie Cuillerier,
Chris Stevenson and Brad Rhody. Vince
Stiekiend played a whale of a game and
finally connected with -an assist going to
Brad Rhody. Warren Andrew made e
nice steal at his own red line and broke
away to blow one in. Matt Sproul made
a tricky play which allowed him to score
unassisted. Rob Crich made a picture
perfect goal on a back hand assisted by
Justin Murray. '
Although Luclmow has won four out of
five games, it sure would be nice -to see
those boys play on the ice instead of in
the penalty box. Surely these guys realize
that it does not do their team any good,
and the only reputation they are going to
get is one of being a goon squadc It spofls
it for the guys who are really trying, and
what about your goalie - doesn't he
deserve tile best protection you can give
him'

The Luelmow, AtoM Ali found success
in Arthur on November 18, on thelongeSt
road trip Of the year. The final score Of
2201 in favour Of Ludlam clearly in-
dicated the balance of play. Luelmow's
superior Skating led to vomplete puck
control throughout the game ivith Artlitir
only able to escape from their zone -on
.rare -.occasions. It was not until the third
period at .the io7,25 mark that Arthur was
able to put a shot 'past the Lucknow
