on November 10, 1989, in her Blith year.
Mrs. Joimaton was torn on SmteMber
10, 1902 in West Williams 'Township.
In 1939, in ArIona, malle married Cecil
.Johnston, formerly Of Ashfield 'Township,
who survives her.
She is also survived by her sister-in-
law, Beryl Moffat of Watford, several
nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Johnston was predeceased by a
ibrother Ivan.
The Funeral service was conducted by
Rev. G. McFarlane from the MacKenzie
and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow
on \November 12, 1989.
interment was in Greenhill Cemetery,
Inclmow.

Christina ri I 9 of Luclmow, died in
Wingham and District Hospital on
November 10, .1989 in her 91st year. She
was a member of South Kinloss
Presbyterian Clim•ch.
Born hi Bnice County on September
1899, she was a daughter of the late Joh
and Catherine (McKinnon) MacPherson.
Mrs. Ely' IS predeceased by her
husband, William, whom she married in
Bruce Township in 1923.
Surviving are children Frances Vollet
of Peterborough; John Downey of
Bowmanville, Margaret Johnston of
Hamilton and wmard D -of ey ,of Binloss
Township. She is also survived by 16
grand 'children and 13 great. grandchildren' .
Mrs. Downey was predeceased by an
infant son, Stuart and an infant daughter,
Helen, three brothers and two sisters.
Rev. W. Henderson conducted the
funeral :service, which was held on
(November 12, 1989 at the MacKenzie and
McCreath Fimeral Home
Pallbeaers were six grandsons.

suddenly at her 'residence E. 1, Denfield

She was the beloved wife of Edward and
rather tof Mithael and daughter of
Milne, Jr., of Qollander.

A graveside service was held Saturday,
November 11 at South Kinloss Cemetery
with Rev. A. Cook officiating. T. Stephen-
son and Sons Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig,
• was in Charge of arrangements.

Charlie Fraser, of Bervie, a retired
farmer and blacksmith, passed away Oc-
tober .31, .1.989 In Kincardine Hospital, in
his 18th year. He was born in Gramm*
`Township, on January 30, 1912, to John
and Elizabeth (Thcalpson) Fraser.
