Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce is seek-
ing
eeking the public's assistance in the in-
vestigation of a Wilful Damage and Theft
which occurred in Bruce Township, near
Douglas "Point.
The Kincardine Detachment of the On-
tario Provincial Police report that
sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 8:30
a.m. on September 3, 1989 an unattended
vehicle was broken into and articles
stolen. The vehicle was a 1985 Ford
Mustang and had been parked on Lake
Range Road in the Township of Bruce,
County of Bruce north of Douglas Point.
The culprit(s) had smashed out the
rear window as well as the driver's win-
dow. The culprit(s) then attempted to
remove the car stereo, however their at-
tempts failed. The cuiprit(s) did ,however
leave the area with an assortment of
cassette tapes, some homemade and
;see factory recorded. There were twen-
ty tapes taken consisting of various
artists.
The damage to the c r was estimated
at 01,500, and the tapes werevalued at
approximately r$15O. It is believed that
due to the somewhat litigated area where
this "occurred that a vehicle was used to
transport the -culprit(s) to and from the
scene.
