Atwell marked 'his `first year in the
't»ini. 'Members from here and Ripley
amended this speeial service and be also
baptized his .granddaughter Leslie Anne.
A social hour followed The service.
Bill MacPherson, of Bolyn ood visited
with :his sister and husband, Mr. and
Mas. Carol Shoffer at London for a few
days. While There, he attended the harness
race.
Mrs. Bill Runt of Kincardine and Mrs.
Terry Burt of here were returning home
from Milton on Thursday and with icy
roads and visability, Judy's ear went out
of control. Fortunately both girls had
their seat belts on when the car left the
road going down an embankment. They
were rescued and are suffering shock, and
bruises but no broken bones, after a very
scarey experience.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. David
Preiss of Formosa on the .arrival of their
baby girl. A granddaughter for M. and
Mrs. Fred .guest.
Edna and May .Boyle were guests of
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Belfenstein of the
Teeswater News to a :delicious dinner and
concert by the reunion singers. A kindly
gesture of Carol and Harry.
Agnes Hodgins .and her granddaughter,
Michele Bodgins, went to Toronto on Sun-
day, Nov. 12 to visit Lenore :Sutherland.
Michele had an exam on Monday and
returned home. Volaine Hodgins -went to
Toronto on Thursday to a nurses conven-
tion and she brought Agnes home with
her.

report having good luck.
Mrs. Bill Burt of Kincardine, Mrs.
'Terry Burt from. here, and her mother
Mrs. Ellwood Storey went .on Wednesday
to the Storey home at Milton.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Burrows and famity

Friendship Da
The Anglican Church Women held their
annual Friendship Day in the church
basement on 'Thursday afternoon with
visiting ladies from Ripley, Lucknow,
Kingarf, Kinlough WMS ladies, Winghaan
and Kincardine friends. It was truly e
day of friendship.
Maureen Collins read the scripture and
Lynda Thacker read a poem and gave a
resume of the year's activities. We are
helping a young student as he studies for
the 'ministry. May Boyle read a friend-
ship poem.
Macy Haldenby introduced the guest
speaker Barbara Stein who was a Central
State Rotary youth exchange student in
Norway for one year. 'She is a wonderful
speaker and spoke fluently as she related
all the different customs, the challenge
°she experienced while there but home
never looked so good. Irlma Wall thank-
ed Barbara and presented her with a
money , gift to aid her in her. studies.
Irlma also read a nice Remembrance
Day poem.
Agnes Hodgins gave a humorous
reading and all joined in singing a hymn,
and Rev. David Atwell led in a closing
prayer.
The bazaar tables were most attractive
with homemade baking and crafts which
were soon picked.: up. Everyone enjoyed.
sandwiches and sweets with their cup of
tea and a time of fellowship and renew-
ing acquaintances and all returned home
after a _pleasant .-afternoon.

meeting was held at the church with
