Christopher Cooke of R. 2, LueknoW
passed away at his residence on October
26, 1989 in his year. Wfr. Cooke was
•a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Trinity Ihrited
Church, Ashfield townsidp.
Born in Wet *Amami% Township on
March S2 MC he was a son of the late
Samuel Cooke and Mary Ann Raynard.
Mr. Cooke is survived by one son,
Harold of R. 2, Lucknow; a sister, Doi-
ly, Mrs. Hugh Menary, of R. 7, Lucknow
and two grandchildren, Christopher and
Kimberly Cooke.
He was predeceased by his wife
Charlotte; a son, James Christopher; two
brothers, Sam and Bill, and three sisters,
Lena, Mary and Wlyrtle.
Friends paid their respects at the
MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home,
Lucknow, from where *the funeral service
was conducted on Sunday, October 29, by
Rev. R. Roberts.
Pallbearers were Bob Johnston, Russell
Phillips, Bud Glenn, Ross Durnin, Sam
Cooke and Bill Cooke.
Interment South Kinloss Cemetery.
BESSIE McNEE
Bessie MeNee died at Alexandra
Marine and General Hospital in Goderich
on Wednesday, ,Ort. 25. She was 75 years
old.
Mrs. McNee, who formerly resided in
both Nile and Dammam, was a Life
Member Of the TICW and a former
District President and Life Member of
the Federated Women's Institutes of
Ontario.
She was born in Kincardine Tovmship
to Robert Irvin and Margaret Isabelle
(Worthy) Bere. She married Gndram
McBee, who predeceased ber.
Mrs. McBee is survived by two sons,
Allan and MS wife Sandra MeNee of LOD-
don and Eric and his wife Kathy McNee
of Dimgannon. Also surviving is line
ilaugliter, Donna, and :her Inn/baud Am
Hayden of Port Albert; and one
daughter-in-law, Lynda McNee of
Dungannon. Mrs. McBee is also survived
by 12 grandchildren.
-She was predeceased by one son, Ken-
neth; one blether, Orland Be; and one
sister, Melia McNee.
