PREJUDICE
—Is the lock on the door of a closee mind.
—Is the ignorance we mistake for reason.
—Never settled any question.
—Is the first enemy of progress.
—Is the fog that prevents us from seeing
the truth.
—Is a case of intellectual astigmatism.
—Ls a mixture of conceit and ignorance.

day, as Lucknow businesses offered shoppers special sales in honour of the superstitious
Friday the 13th. Bev Button, left, and Dorothy Hamilton, donned their cat outfits com-

vantage of the bakery specials offered that day. (Pat Livingston photo)
