The excavation for the new home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Robertson on Gough Street was dug last week. Tom Hill is building a new house on 7 Clyde Street. Mr. and Mrs. Goldwin Purvis from Southampton visited with Janie Hamilton of the Sepoy Apartments recently. Also visiting Janie were Mr. and Mrs. Cuyler Ramage from Wisconsin. Bruce Willits attended the Firestone Test Center in Columbia, Ohio where they demonstrated how they test their tractor tires for their ability to withstand different conditions. :Sympathy is extended to Eldon Mann and family in the passing of Mrs. Mann. The meeting takes place Friday, November 10 in the Lakeshore Racquet Club, Port Elgin starting with a social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. The Growing Season The seed companies are advertising seed for 1990.
