Mr. and Mrs. Fred Guest visited with
her sister .at Goderich Saimtay.
The Presbyterian ladies f iten Imre
went on a bus trip driven ;by Arthur
-Breckles to Crieff Hifi :where they
assembled :from 'two 'buses in the
auditorium before :going to -partake of a
delicious _dinner then into a devotional
session to introduce next VOLS Study
Book.
They returned by Guelph .and enjoyed
sightseeing and shopping arriving .home
after an 'enjoyable drive, good food and
fellowship and food for tliought.

The Anglican Church women met on
Thursday afterriton at the ehureh for
theh. annual bale packing when *12 boxes
of lovely elething came out to be sorted, °
put into boxes and sealed and tied and
labelled for their destination at
Piltwitonei, Manitoba.
zWhen the bales were completed a
short meeting followed. Kay Thacker
read the 'minutes of the previous
meeting and the will -call was Our
Earliest 'Recollection of our Christian
Education.
Agnes Hoclgins' „granddaughter, Tam-
mara Hodgins, leaves for New 2ealand
and tither 'places in November. She talk -
ad about...her irip, the cost and 'hostess
gifts that she Will need. She will enjoy
summer weather .811 the time.
The itill-Deanery meeting mil' be 'held
at 13aYfieki on October 3, the same date
as the Bible Society meeting at
Xinlough.
The South Saulgeen Calendar was
handed out with -various interesting
events, including our Fliendship day in
November which is held annually.
On Sunday -next, the 'service -vittlll be
held as :usual followed by a
smorgasbord luncheon at 1:30

return 'from the Lucknow service. Carol
Cooper and helpers -will have charge of
the 'program
