Number one would be a Molly Maid to

that seem to be necessary to keep Mr.

are driving me crazy! The dust and

the next day _you can hardly believe that
your efforts are not even noticeable.
Spiders work faster than I do; I'm sure
they look for the clean corners to do their
work -in.
Occasionally, by making him feel a lit-

ittle guilty, I can impose upon .Mr. Fixit to
run around with the vacuum cleaner. He
puts his foot down at using a dust rag
and absolutely will not clean the
bathroom. After doing bathroom detail
sometime ago (I gave him a choice) he
informed me that never again would he
volunteer for that chore.
Number two would be a Molly Maid to
look after grocery shopping .and meals.
Last Saturday was a prime example of
° how useful such a person could be to me.
After doing the shopping, cleaning the
house, and washing lour loads of clothing,
I was ar.little pooped, but no I couldn't sit
down and put my feet up. I had a com-
mitment in town for 6:45 and of course
I had to cl. up my person, throw a
dab of makeup on, and some clean
clothes first. As I left the house I :sug-
gested' to Mr. Fixit that perhaps he could
have supper ready when I got home. As
we were both going to have to leave the

returned from the 5:45 appointment, sup-
per sitting on the table would have been
very much appreciated. Time was not
abundant; I mean really it does take
time to shower, do your hair, apply nail
polish and don your good clothes. There
was no way I had time to cook a meal
for the master of the domain.
As I was driving out the laneway, Mr.
Fixit's reply and the grin on his face, led
me to believe that preparing supper was
the furthest thing from his mind. I
debated mentally whether I should pick
something up in town to take home. My
first thought was, "no, he'll make us a
sandwich and soup." My next thought
was "no, better play it safe and pick
something up."
My commitment attended to I . quickly
dropped into one of our local eateries and
grabbed "sapper". All the way home I
was worrying about "having egg on my
face" in the event Mr. Fixit had
prepared some type of burnt offering to
sustain us through the evening. As I
entered the house, I hid "supper" behind
my back, and started to shudder when I
heard him say, "you're late!" Oh no, he
had cooked! As I peaked around the
door, I was greeted with, "I looked in the
fridge but I couldn't find Anything to
make." Give me a break! I had just
picked up groceries that morning, and as
Number One Son isn't at home, I knew
there was something he could have
managed! As I presented him with his
dinner, I rubbed it ina little that after
