B12 Geddes of 13ervie 'area acted as chairman for -a short business meeting and Betty Mn Lamont had the Minute Book. A discussion was held on the smaller .attendance and lack of interest among the family members but those present felt it was worth meeting again in the same place on the fourth Sunday of August as usual in 1990. Chairman and secretary were re-elected. Gladys Arnold of Ripley had prepared a Family History a few years previously. It traced the family from Enniskillen, Ireland to Canada and now family members are scattered over the conti- nent. She had been updating the John Geddes' branch and had copies for those present. Family members live in London, St. Thomas, Acton, St. Catharines as well as locally.
