Lack of rain
breaks records
We all knew July was a dry month
and the following figures, provided by
flaroki Greer, will give you July rain-
fall comparisons: 1898 - .85 inches; 1918
- .70 inches; 1935 - .59 incbes; 1955 - .96
inches; 1960 - 63 nches; 1988 - 1.73 ba-
thes; 1989 - 0 inches.
Recalling last July it is hard to
-
[believe 1.73 inches actually fell. But
remember the 'rain 'was very spotty,
with one area receiving it and a few
miles down the road nothing.
Vacation Bile

.Jesus, sharing and caringfor each other.
Crafts, stories, songs, games and a little
lunch will jam pack a full week.
Itankstothose involved, this will be a
great week for all children involved.
What the students
are doing
ln less than three weeks students will
be back in sehool, hitting the books

a way of 'lambing by us.
'The Sentinel's roving reporter took to
the streets to see what kind of employ-
