• The Dungannon Women's Institute
met at the home of Winnifred irvin

President Mary Robson opened the
meeting by welcoming everyone. The
Opening Ode was sung, Mary Stewart

The roll 'call was answered by 14

meeting with Joan Dougherty convenor
in charge. She introduced Marion Zinn

well, litter problems may be reduced,
as empty pop and beer cans, often left
on our roadsides and beaches, may be
rebyeled instead.
Another exciting development for the
Committee, was the acquisition of a
number Of home composting units, from
the Barclay Horticultural Manufacturing
Company, for use by homeowners. In-
deed, the municipalities in this Area
Program were the first in the province
to 'offer these ial units to
homeowners. Since this time Metro
Toronto has announced their intention to
provide several thousand units to their
homeowners is well. C=005 bug of the
