Morning finds you feeling like you have been drug through a ringer. Normally, a very efficient person, who never misses an appointment, and is always on time or early, I was agast when I was informed that the previous evening I had missed a very important picture assignment. How do you apologize to an efficient person who booked °the appointment way in advance? Very profusely! How do you apologize to seven young ladies who took time ,.out of their schedule to be at the appointed place? You get down on your knees and eat crow seven times. Fortunately I was able to get my butt out of the Ming and saved the day, with the cooperation of the young ladies in question. To those .involved. one more time, "I'm sorry" It Rained on our "Parade" Well it did - it rained on our merchants' parade-of-sidewalk-sales.€l--go for close to six weeks without rain and wouldn't you know it, Friday that much sought after moisture damped the spirits of the merchants and those shoppers searching for bargains. We all kept in mind the area farmers and hoped it was not too late to do them some good. Craft 'Festival delights A tour through the Craft Festival was a delight for the shopper. There was something for everyone, with quite a few -new faces. One crafter commented on the excellent organization by the Lucknow Agricultural 'Society. Hats off to members! Thanks Ruth and Hazel for the coffee. Thanks to Gordon McIntyre of Rich- mond Hill, a faithful reader of the Sen- tinel. It is nice to know so many aple enjoying reading our paper. A thanks also goes out to all those others who made my week. It seemed to be full of compliments for some reason. It's people 'like you that make this job enjoyable. +Arestiow rue- - ` - o- whether I have tackled the chain saw yet. The answer is no. I'm not afraid of Mr. Fixit, it's just the worry of injuring some precious part of my anatomy that is holding 'back. However, I'd had enough nerve, last week would have been the ideal time to do my "pruning". Mr. Fixit abandoned me for a whole three days. Unfortunately duty called at work and I just couldn't find the time or the nerve.
