Una Matthews was hostess for the
Public Relations meeting at Kairshea
W.I. which was held at her home on Ju-
ly 20. President, Muriel MacKenzie,
opened the :meeting with a reading =
Thoughts ,for Today. The Opening Ode
was sung and Mary Stewart Collect
repeated and the .scripture from Psalm
25 read by Alleve TBradiey.
Secretary, Una . Matthews read -the
minutes and treasurer, Marian MacKin-
non gave the ms's report.
The correspondence included a
Newsletter for Bruce County Organiza-
tion and another from the Historical

The ',Craft Festival report was given
by :Una Matthews. A planning :meeting
had :been tad'and Alps were passed out
outlining .duties for all. matters.

Plans were also made for the group
exhibit at the Fall. Pair.
The roll dill was well answered nam-
ing Canadian women in the news.
Everyone: enjoyed the dancers, Mirelle
MacKenzie from Cobourg and Erin
Eadie, dressed in their kilts danced to
the music ..of their grandfather, Frank
MacKenzie's bagpipes. Mirelle first .did
the sword dance, Erin the Highland Fl-
ing and the -Mirelle another graceful
Highland dance.

spiced with some humour. Readings on
news were given by Irene Haldenby and
Mamie •Roulstan.
All joined in singing Annie Laurie and
Elsie Houston also�played an instrumen-
tal on the keyboard.
Elizabeth Dickie gave out a contest on
noted Canadian women which was well
answered. Una Matthews and Gloria

sored a bus trip to Brantford and Simcoe

Games at Caledon 'Hunt Club. Other
members of the Huron Bruce Pony Club
on their team were Anna Tadla, Jill
Aicheson, Krista Holtby which placed se-
cond in their division.
The 4-11 picnic at Chepstow waswell
