At the recent Annual •General Meeting
of the 'Lung Association, Huron -Perth
Counties, President Stephen Dibert
thanked the volunteers who contributed
time and energy to help fulfil the
association's mission.
He also paid tribute to the donors who
gave so ,generously to finance the pro-
grams, services and medical research
into respiratory disease. Both the

In her annual report, Betty Hunter,
executive director, outlined the many
activities conducted in the two counties
over the past year and stressed the in-
creased demand for more information.

many enquiries, as ,did asthma. "As
more and more people become aware of
the environmental hazards, especially as
they affect respiratory health, the heed

tinue," said Betty.
Dr. Stanley Hill, ;past -president of the
Ontario Lung Association, commended
the staff and the board on successfully
meeting the challenges of the past year
and gave a short talk on 'Exercise and
the Asthmatic. He presented the Ontario
Lung Association Meritorious Award to
David Wall for his outstanding service
as a volunteer.
