Building limprovements
at Brookside
"Tap, tap, tap. Bang, bang, boom!"
That's what it has sounded like for the
last few weeks at Iirookside. 'Workmen
have been Vorithig on the roof 'pitting
tar on it. it really smells awful at Alines
because -of pourhig hot Sticky tar -on the
roof. Classes have been .held outside
because of the noise and the need to
keep till the windows closed to avoid the
odour. It's teen hot and Sticky espeCial
ly last week because of the warm
teroperattnes. We will be glad when Lit's
done.
'Hopefully we wiili than have a non -
leaking, long bating roof. Wetll really
be glad to 'have 'the roof repaired .after
years of tiptoeing around buckets down
the halls!
