rave reviews in the Woodstock Sentinel
following its performance at Ingersoll,
during their recent tour.
"Making a wave to Battle Hymn of the
Republic; students dancing in the isles,
with teachers, yet; spontaneous applause
and cheers galore - Tuesday's concert at
Victory Memori = School by 80 students
from Lucknow Public School and three
Lucknow area high schools, Grades 6 to
1S, was enjoyed by every member of the
audience. Entertainment seems an
understatement."
"Under the inspired leadership of
music teacher Gord Cayley, who numbers
all the young musiciansamong his pre-
sent and former students, the group per-
formed music which was upbeat and
delightfully full of surprises."
"During the concert, dance tunes had
a way of suddenly turning into song -and -
dance routines; members of the audience
had a way of suddenly finding themselves
centre stage, dancing, acting - or even at
the podium, conduct] ig the orchestra
(while Cayley sat down and watched two
students on hobby horses cavort around
the gym to the tune of The Lone
Ranger."
