I ran up to the house and got a croquet stick. An orange one too! 0 shucks! he got away. Themost 1was the pain'ted turtles. One was at the re. At first I thought it was a frog. I .plc it up, it was a turtle that's how 1 g r my turtle. Rob and I found,big turtles, little •ones, and middle sized ones. The littlest turtle was at the shore. My Little Cat My little cat, She's chasing a rat, She wears a hat, Now .she is acting like a bat. Soon I'm going to be calling it a brat, But If I don't do that, She'll be flat. Erin Eadie Grade 2 ADog Look at that funny dog and he wags, his tail. Look at that other dog he's got a hat on his head. And I went back home and that dog walked with me all the way home. When ;I got home I called him "Grover". Then I took him back in the bush, he got a rabbit. And when I got home I tied him up and then I went in the house. I went up to my bedroom and I fell asleep. And I went outside;and he was gone forever. Tim Visser Grade 3 Anna The Figure Skater Anna was.six years old, she had a sister named .Crystal, a brother named John and baby named Maggie. Anna always dreamt of being a real figure skater. She said to Crystal that some day she'd be able to twirl and twist and be so graceful that she'd be so amazed that Crystal would pass out! ! Crystal always laughed and laughed. The next day was February 5th, Anna's birthday. Crystal went out and bought a pair of figure .skates. They fit perfect. Anna loved ahem so she went out and tried twisting, twirling and she was very graceful,: she balanced very well. One day she got a partner and they were very graceful together. In a couple of years An- na was figure skating in front of millions of people and Anna was right, Crystal did pass out. So this time Anna was the one bieueine Rachael Bushell Grade2 Sherri McCracken Grade 3 The Candy Tree Once upona time e lived a little girl named Samantha. She was ten years old. Her birthday was on April the 2nd. It was only March 6th and she wanted a pogo ball. Finally April came, she had all her invita- tions made and give out. After school her Mom and Dad gave her a present, it was a pogo ball. Her one friend gave her a book. It was an adding book. Her other friend gave her a bead set. Her very best friend gave her a seed. It looks funny. She planted her seed and watered it. ZOOM! It was already full grown, she couldn't believe her eyes! It was a candy tree. She carefully pulled off a candy mmm.,. was it good.
