Citizens' Centre on Friday night. Ted
Bowers was presented with his past presi-
dent pin by Evelyn Errington and an
engraved desk set was in recognition of his
leadership. Ted and Olive ,wi11 be -residing
in Sarnia. Euchre was enjoyed with Cecil
by Bonnie Hodges

Proposed By-law for Village of Lucknow Under the
Retail Business Holiday Act
The Council of the Village of Lucknow is giving consideration to a by-law
under the Retail Business Holidays Act. The proposed by-law would allow
businesses to remain open on Sundays, after 12:00 p.m. noon. A copy of
the :proposeii by-law may be obtained from the Clerk's office during office
hours.
A:public meeting in respect of the proposed by-law will be held by the Coun-
cil at the Municipal Office, on May 18, 1989 at -8:00 p.m. Any person who
attends the meeting will be given the opportunity of making representations
regarding the proposed by-law.
