Olive Biake moves to Camb
As any correspondent for the paper
knows it is very welcome and encouraging
when a person takes the time ,to share their
news items. Since undertaking this posi-
tion just over a year ago, Olive Blake was
the most faithful to report all her visitors.
Due to changes in her physical condition
Olive has decided to move closer to her
family where additional care is more
readily available. She will still appreciate
hearing from her many friends in this area
at her new address - Saint Luke's Place - A
222, 1624 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge,
Ont. N3C 3P4.
Sincere sympathy is extended to Mrs.
Morton in the passing of ..her husband,
Albert, in Wingham District Hospital last
week.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Le Breton and
family have moved to town at 542 Ludgard
St.
Congratulations to Jody Dennis and
Yolanda Von Allmen who were married in

Gordon and Bernice Johnstone spent
Easter weekend with Bruce, Marianne and
girls near Chatham. Last weekend they
visited with Bob and Marion McComb at
Castleton and celebrated Matthew's first
birthday.
Sympathy is also extended to the Ross
family in the passing of Bill Ross at

It is good to see residents returning that
had spent the winter months basking in
warmer temperatures.

Town and Country Club view slide
'The Lucknow Town and Country Club
met on April 3 and enjoyed a pot luck meal.
During the business portion of the
meeting the group voted unanimously to
giving a $25 donation to PAC the Lucknow
Library project.
Guest speaker was Mr. Maurice Audet,
Zone 33 Field Representative and his wife,
Betty. They showed slides and gave a com-
mentary on a trip to China. Soine ex-
periences were eating with chopsticks,
mingling among the great crowds of peo-
ple on the streets in China and the many
languages amongst the Chinese people.
China is an over populated country, the
peole are hard working, particularly the
women.
Super Heroes"
Friday night the village was invaded by a crew toting a video camera. No we weren't
about to make the T.V. again. This time it was students of F.E. Madill Secondary School
running for council. "Super Heroes", Sandy MacIntyre (left) running for vice-president
and Bruce Whytock (right) of Teeswater, unning for president were doing their best to
impress upon the other students, via the video, that high school will require "super
heroes" next year to get them through the changes! The "heroes" fried to impress fellow
students, Julie Nicholson and Heather Priestap, with their strength and determination.

. ALL MEN ARE BORN
—With a certain amount of egotism.
—With some urges after greatness.
—With some desires that can never be ful-
ly gratified.
—With some weaknesses and some
strength.
With a lot of contradictory impulses.
—With a capacity for becoming great.
