Presbyterian congregation held a joint
service .at South Kinloss on Good Friday.
Several young people participated in the
Scripture readings including Heather
Howald, Steven -Hamilton, Helen Mean -
tyre, Dan Gilchrist, Mae Raynard,
Jonathan Nelson, Amy Austin, Wayne
Forster, Katrina Howald, Cris Colwell,
Marita MacDougall, and Sandy Menial -
tyre. Solos were by Marion Raynard and

Ralph and Phemie Cameron's son-in-
law, Hugh Graham ofiVelland, alongwith
:his brother Joe were the winners of a new
1989 Corsicanareon the quiz show "Defini-
tion" seen on Marine' 13 television last
week.
Winnifred Gammie 4as `returned home
after spending one month in Whitby with
her sister Myrtle Fells and 'then .the two
sisters spent a month at Zephyrhills,
Florida.
Congratulations to Dickie and Mary Lou
Richards of Ottawa on the :birth of their
son, Daniel Lewis. Dickie is a son of Mr.
and Mrs. Ctriand Richards and grew up in
the Lucknow area.
Donald Andrew and Carman of Olds,
Alberta are visiting with family and

home after spending nearly a month in

ferent foods were experienced by Marg
and Del, who also bad the experience of
having to consume all their food with
chopsticks2No cutlery, as we know it, was
placed on the table.
After a very unique dining experience
the ctourist" therrspent the remainder of
the afternoon Shopping. It was fascinating
to see the vendors of fish, vegetables and
other groceries lined up on the sidewalks
with their produce. All appeared to be do-
ing a booming business as were the
bakeshops where many scrumptious
Chinese desserts could be purchased.
Absent from the stores that the visitors
shopped at were the traditional chocolate
Easter bunnies and such like. Unlike the
towns and cities that they drove through
enroute to Toronto, where virtually all
stores were observing the Good Friday
holiday, China Town was jammed with
people.
