In early 1988, Canada Post Corporation made several commitments to our rural
customers. We promised more convenience, more outlets, more business for local
merchants and more efficient services.

Since our program to improve service began, Canada Post Corporation has:
increased convenience by more than doubling the average hours of postal
service in communities where these services are provided through retail postal
outlets operated by local businesses.

new retail -postal outlets in ruralrommunities to complement the services offered
by a corporate post office, and 10 new postal outlets in communities where no
postal outlet existed.

For our Easter crafts we covered l'eggs
eggs with coloured tissue paper strips. We
dyed real eggs and decorated them with
crayons and stickers.
K2, Mrs. Young
Mrs. Young's Kindergarten class has
been busy with Easter activities. They are
studying measurement and are having fun
playing "store" and working with pennies.
Happy birthday to Adam Wilkins, who had
a birthday in March.
Grade One
Miss Jewitt's grade one class has been
having lots of Easter fun making a booklet,
paper mache eggs, playing Easter games
and reading Easter poems and stories.
Grade Two
Mrs. Blanchette's grade twos are learn-
ing how to tell time. They have finished

and made their own big book based on this
story. They have also been busy with
Easter activities and finished an Easter
Booklet in time for Easter.
Grade Two/Three
At an earlier class meeting, the Wonder
Tree decided to have a Pizza Day on
Thursday! Groups planned pizza research,
pizza language, pizza math, pizza think-
ing, and pizza craft. And ... of course ...
pizza making! Mrs. Among and Mrs. Bak-
ker will help out with the cooking — we'll
practice the eating! Where did the word
pizia come from? Do Italians or
Americans eat more pizza? Ask us! (Mrs.
Baskerville assisted the research group
plan their questions.)
Grade Three
We welcome everyone back from the
March Break. We especially welcome
back Existina who is here minus her ton-
sils! We're still finiating up our Ireland
unit. AfterEaster, we'll be learning about
rnivr9in.

Our grade four class is making pop out
flowers to hurry up Spring time. We're
also working onEaster.activitica. -

World War 1 projects. Some people did
them an Clothing, inventors, Posters and
manyinore things. Nest week we are star-
thig to grow pepper and tomato plants

garden. Everyone bad a good March
Break and returned safely.
