This week we have been reading about
St. Patrick's Day. We made a pattern page
using half a potato carved like a shamrock
as our stamp. We think that March came
in like a lion and should go out like a lamb.

Last Friday we finally got to make some
"Purple Cow". Some of us thought it might
be a cake covered in purple icing. We all
made up recipes of what we thought "Pur-
ple Cow" might be. "Purple Cow" is really
made with ice cream, milk and grape pop.
It is all blended in a blender and everyone
said it was delicious!
Grade 7, Room 10.
In home economics room 10 students are
making bunnies and bears to give as
presents at Easter. In Language Arts they
are writing out sentences and putting in
the proper punctuation. They are going to
start a new unit in History soon, called the
community of New France. Right now
though, they are talking about Indian
Reserves and Indian education.
Grade 7/8, Room 8
In our class we have been busy with the
continuation of our novel studies and
researching information for our science
