Ice carnival ends on sad note To the editor: Lucknow and surrounding area residents were entertained to a great Ice Carnival on Saturday night at the local arena. Congratulations go to everyone in- volved including those who work behind the scenes all year long. For one young lady, the evening ended on a sad note after a super time. Clothes and tapes that she was going to take with her to a friend's place for the weekend went missing from the family car parked just outside the arena. The articles were in a blue sports bag with the letters LOTO on the side pouch. If the bag or any of the items taken could be returned, she would really appreciate them. After all, you don't take the things you hate to a friend's house. To the parents, we would like to say it is our responsibility to ensure the streets of Lucknow and any small community are safe. We are responsible for the actions of our children wherever they be, in our home or on the streets. Don't leave it up to the police. Concerned Parents P.S. If the above mentioned missing ar- ticles are left at the arena or Sentinel of- fice, no action will be taken. ictsicer s ,y•sw _ onMen & omen v w \ 32 West Street, Shoppers Square 9oderlch 524-4312 turf i. -4R e.
