Welcome Mr. Cober
Mr. Cober lives on a farm just outside
Fordwich. He first taught in a Sunday
School, as a teenager. This broughttim to
teacher in a regular school. After. teaching
Sunday School he went to college for one
year.
The first school he taught in was S.S. no.
9, a one room school in Howick. Then he
went back to university for seven sum-
rners:P"Sinc then he has been teaching in
several schools for 28 years.
Balancing a class and being vice prin-
cipal is a full life. Being a vice principal
has many responsibilities like getting sup-
plies for the school, supply teachers,
supervising teachers and filling in for Mr.
Tremeer when he isabsent.
The best thing about teaching at
Brookside is working with the staff and
students. In working with students he -en-
joys watching them ,progress and mature.
He feels he's:part.of:the;process. Mr. Cober
prefers.teaching the senior grades because
they are amore-irr ndent-and can do.ac-
tivitiues ontheir own.
