The February 7th meeting of •West
Wawanosh Township Council proved tG be

Cable TV companies to pay a "gross
receipts tan" to the municipalities in

Province of Ontario be 'petitioned to pro-
vide funding to .assist municipaliites to
re'trofitmunicipal administration facilites,
asrequired- by the Ontario -Human Rights
Code, to provide equal access to services
and facilities for all residents.'

Transport Agency through the Federal
Government, :implement a morterium on
all current applications and future ap-
plications for discontinuance of rail ser-

ther track, trestles, :bridges be allowed to

'be :assigned or -sold until a complete study
has 'been done by the Federal and Provin-
cial Governments on the effect of rail ser-
vice throughout the country and the

The Fire Protection Agreement with the
Village of Lucknow and the townships of
Kinloss and Ashfield, was given three

`The contractor had informed council that
be could no longer dispose of large items,
such as refrigerators and stoves, as he had
in the past, without increased most. The
landfill site superintendent has now made
arrangements with another party for
removal of all scrap metal from the site.
In 'other :business, council approved the
budget of the Blyth and District Communi-
ty -Centre as submitted by the committee.
As a means of ensuring that all
employees, full andinr parttime, are pro-
perly licenced to drive township vehicles,
licenses will be copied andkept on file.
This is a result of the requirements of tide
Ministry of Transportation on
endorsement.
Council agreed to reimburse persons on
the History Book Committee their ex-
penses incurred for researching records,
upon presentation of invoices. These costs
would be recovered from the _sales of the
completed history book on the Township of
West Wawanosh.
