There are simply not enough words to ex-
press our sincere gratitude and apprecia-

Lucknow. To the fire departments of these
villages, thank you. Your efforts and ex-

been an even bigger disaster. Thank you to
our neighbours, families and friends who
helped in any way and manual labour that
night, and the week following, were very
much recognized and appreciated. To the
people who organized our benefit dance, to
those who assisted that night, and to all
who attended, thank you .so much: This

concern and support of the communities in
which we live was clearly shown at this
night of honour. To all our friends and
family, thanks for being there when we
needed you the most. Thanks for our phone

frigh. _ung situation a little more
bearable. The clouds of today, will
somehow be replaced, with the hope of a

Ministry of Health
expands drug
program
The Ministry of Health has designated 10
hospitals to provide drugs and drug-
related therapies free of charge to people
of all ages who suffer from cystic fibrosis
and thalassemia.
The designated hospitals will receive
about $5.1 million.. annually from the
ministry to pay for the program drug
costs.
The announcement, effective January
31, 1989, extends ministry coverage to an
additional 321 cystic fibrosis patients and
about 30 thalassemia patients. The
ministry, which formerly provided finan-
cial assistance to those 18 and younger,
will now cover 895 cystic fibrosis patients
and about 125 thalassemia patients.
The recommendation to extend drug and
drug-related therapy coverage to these
two groups was contained in the December
1988 interim report of the Pharmaceutical
Inquiry of Ontario, chaired by Frederick
