Resolutions
Concern about the damage done to
machinery, livestock, and humans; the
directors passed a resolution requesting
the provincial government to itnplement a
system whereby beverages sold in glass
bottles would have a price including a
refundable deposit of significant dollar
value to encourage the gathering of such
containers and discourage disposing of
such containers on the roadside or adjoin-
ing area.
Being concerned about The Tack of stan-
dardization for shutting off the power sup-
ply of farm machinery, the directors pass-
ed a motion that would see all new motoriz-
ed farm machinery sold for use in Ontario
have an emergency stop located in an easy
accessible location clearly identified.
These resolutions have been sent to the
parent organization for their 'support as
well as to the provincial government.
The next meeting will be held on March
2.
