Congratulations to Mrs. Agnes Bodging
on the gift of a new great grandson. The
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Chris Mantel
(nee Cathy Teixeira) and the grand-

Plans were completed for the World Day
of Prayer which will be held in the
Presbyterian Church.
A ,church library was decided on and
thanks were •expressed for get well cards.
Mrs. Jean Atwell was the convener who
gave a very splendid talk on the Bible and
howessential it is to eurdailAives. Did we
resolve at the •New Year, to deepen our
/ spiritual lives with self discipline leaving
out half heartednesS)in worship and -our
relationship with God's love in our hearts?
We must Jive by the Bible for God said "If
we live lUke-wain Jives I will spew you out
of my mouth." We need to make the deci-
sion "As formeandmy house we willserve
the ,Lord". We Are to be Jesus faithful
witnesses And receive Him into our hearts
in total commitment.
It was very personal and gave us all food
for fipiritual thought.
