SANDE - Andy and Marg welcome with love their daughter Angela Catharine, born on Tuesday, February 7, 1989, in Wingham and District Hospital, weighing 7 lbs. 10 oz. A grandaughter for Mr. and Mrs. William Sande of Toronto and Mrs. Rita Baks of R. 2, Teeswater. Marie Park rolls a 295 single Monday Night Mixed Eric Taylor rolled the high single and triple with 231 and 618. Marie Park cleaned up for the ladies -with a single of 295 and a triple 706. W.M.S. looks at love The South Kinloss W.M.S. held their February meeting at the home of Nancy Maclntyre, with Olive Needham as hostess. Directors were Muriel MacKenzie and Kathy Howald. President, Wilma Clarke appropriately opened the meeting with a reading on „ Love. The W.M.S. purpose was read by the group. The secretary's minutes were read and approved. The treasurer's report was heard. Margaret Hamilton reported on the January Presbyterial of Maitland to which she and Doris MacKinnon were delegates.4 Rollcall with 15 members giving a verse on Love saw many favourites recited. Mrs. MacKenzie gave the Bible Study from first Corinthians 13 with 13 verses befittingly on Love. abh B IRTHS COWAN - Michael an Tessa are pleased to announce the b' of their daughter Erin, at Wingham and District Hospital, on February 10, 1989, weighing 6 lbs. 8 oz. Erin is a wee sister for Magnan. HACKETT - Brian and Laurie of Belle River, happily announce the birth of their daughter, Amanda Irene, on February 3, 1989 at Metropolitan Hospital, Windsor. She weighed 9lbs. 4 oz. Proud grand- parents are Lorne and Hazel Hackett, Lucknow, Richard and Irene Laforet, Ridgetown. Great Grandparents are Cliff and Ruby Hackett, Goderich, Vera Camp- bell and Margaret Roets, Blenheim. Shirley Colwell graced the group with a lovely solo "Love is the Greatest Gift" to end the study. PrayerCircle included Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. MacKinnon and Florence McConnell. The offering was collected with Eva Burt giving the offertory prayer. Mrs. Needham gave a humourous reading entitled 'Love in Bloom.' Mission Study, Africa's History, was very capably presented by Mrs. Howald. Mrs. Howald gave the courtesy remarks which were responded to by Mrs. Needham. Mrs. MacKenzie lead in closing prayer. Events to note, South Kinloss hosts the World Day of Prayer.
